My story...
In my career thus far, I've had the opportunity to work on a number interesting data and AI products. I started out designing advertising artwork for a distribution company and working freelance. After that, some colleagues and I founded a small game studio and released an iPhone game called Wavecrash.
With my foot in the door of the tech industry, I was fortunate to land a job as a UI Designer for a company called Blekko. In my time with Blekko, I had the opportunity to work for Shazam and Weight Watchers, exploring how AI could enhance their products and the new experiences associated with those enhancements.
Shortly after, we were acquired by IBM, where I spent many years working on various data and AI management products. At IBM I learned a great deal about enterprise design, working with and leading teams of designers, creating workflows and pipelines, effective scalable design methodologies and the importance of user-centered design.
